Sir Thomas Culpeper, 3rd Baronet : ウィキペディア英語版 | Sir Thomas Culpeper, 3rd Baronet Sir Thomas Culpeper, 3rd Baronet (c. 1656 – 18 May 1723) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons of England between 1705 and 1707 and in the House of Commons of Great Britain variously between 1707 and 1723. Culpeper was the son of Sir Richard Culpeper, 2nd Baronet. He inherited the baronetcy in infancy on the death of his father on 10 January 1660. He matriculated at Magdalen Hall, Oxford on 15 June 1672 aged 15.〔(Culpeper Archives - Oxford Alumni )〕 In 1704, he was High Sheriff of Kent. Culpeper was elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Maidstone, Kent on 9 May 1705 and held the seat until 24 Aug 1713. He was re-elected MP for Maidstone on 24 Jan 1715 and held the seat until his death.
